Restorative justice and mediation one-day workshop
Due to popular demand, Gomediate has designed a one-day workshop looking at restorative justice and mediation, all in one day. This is, by necessity, a fast-paced workshop. The morning session is a no holds barred exploration of restorative justice and practice in its various forms. You will learn about the theory and practice of restorative justice as it is practiced in 'the real world' dealing with real crimes.
The afternoon session is a roller coaster ride through the process and model of mediation. You will discover its underlying principles and discuss its application across a wide range of settings, for example the workplace, communities, families and schools. You can view this workshop as either an introduction to both subjects or a refresher if you have previous experience.
The workshop examines the similarities and the important differences between these two disciplines. As has come to be expected of Gomediate training courses, the day will be intense, interactive and fun!
Both sessions will allow the opportunity for observed skills practice (for those who want it). All those attending will receive a Gomediate certificate showing six hours of CPD.
And there’ll be cake!
