Parole and Restorative Justice

Join Why me? on June 8th 2021 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm to discuss best practice for taking Restorative Justice into account for decisions about Parole.

Why me? have been working collaboratively with the Parole Board, Restorative Justice facilitators, and those with lived experience of the process to create guidance on when Restorative Justice can be taken into account when someone is up for Parole.

Come to this event to find out the most up-to-date information and guidance for RJ practitioners in relation to Parole. We are delighted to have Martin Jones, Parole Board CEO, headlining the event, as well as an experienced Panel Member and Paul Kohler, who will speak about his own experience of RJ and views. Engage in a lively discussion about the role of Restorative Justice in parole decision-making and consider the implications for your own practice. This event is for Parole Panel members and staff, and for RJ practitioners and supervisors.
