    Lizzie Nelson

    Director


    Lizzie Nelson worked in the House of Commons, the European Parliament, and as Government Relations Officer in the voluntary sector, before joining the Home Office in 1998. Her civil service career covered a wide range of policy areas. From 2003-5, Lizzie was Head of the Home Office Restorative Justice Policy Team, responsible for the Government's Strategy on Restorative Justice (2003) and Best Practice Guidance for Restorative Practitioners (2004), as well as policy oversight of the Government's research programme on restorative justice. In 2006 she joined the Board of Trustees of the RJC, and joined the staff team as our Director in January 2010.

    Chris Igoe

    Assistant Director


    Chris became interested in restorative justice when studying criminology and corporate governance in 2004. Having graduated with a honours law degree from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Chris joined the RJC in 2008 and leads on development of the RJC website, our media work, and our publications, including Resolution and RJC e-bulletins.

    Graham Keyse

    Operations Manager


    Graham Keyse joined the Restorative Justice Council from the Institute for Learning, where he was Data Services Manager. Graham was responsible for the development of two Customer Relations Management Systems for their  professional register for the Further Education Sector. His role included supervision of all staff operating the IT systems to ensure that data was held securely in line with organisational policy and legislative requirements. Prior to his work at the Institute for Learning, Graham worked as Registrar, and then Examinations Manager, at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. His role at the Restorative Justice Council will be wide ranging, including management of IT, finance and office systems, including secure management of data for the online RJC Practitioner Register; events management; and recruitment and supervision of volunteers in the RJC Office.

    Linda Millington

    Head of Professional Services


    Linda Millington joined the RJC in May 2011 as our new Head of Professional Services. Linda previously worked with Skills for Justice and led on the development of the National Occupational Standards in restorative practice, and the piloting of the Level 4 Diploma in Restorative Practice. As Head of Professional Services at the RJC Linda’s role includes project management of the development and launch of the RJC Practitioner Register. Her role includes development of the ‘passporting’ arrangements for experienced practitioners; working with awarding bodies to develop a wide range of RJC Quality Marked accreditations based on the National Occupational Standards in restorative practice, and piloting RJC Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops, linked to the CPD requirement of Practitioner Registration.
