RJC Standards and Accreditation Board
The RJC Standards and Accreditation Board's (SAB) primary task is to safeguard standards for restorative practice based on research evidence and established best practice, and to ensure quality of delivery including effective accreditation for the sector.
SAB represents practitioners, managers, trainers and commissioners of restorative practice.
SAB's functions are:
1. To promote best practice, quality assurance and appropriate accreditation in all areas of restorative practice
2. To review and update the Best Practice Guidance
3. To advise and guide the RJC's work in quality assuring the delivery of restorative processes
4. To guide the development of the Practitioner and Trainers Registers
5. To support the RJC in representing the RJC and the sector in relation to standards and accreditation.
SAB is supported in its role by an Advisory Group who provide advice and information on request to the SAB.
