The Forgiveness Project Job Vacancy - Project Co-ordinator - £25,000 per annum
The Forgiveness Project (TFP) uses story-telling to explore how ideas around forgiveness, reconciliation and conflict resolution can be used to impact positively on people’s lives, through the personal testimonies of both victims and perpetrators of crime and violence. We work with the public, schools, prisons, faith communities, and with any group who wish to explore the nature of forgiveness and alternatives to conflict, whether in the wider political context or within their own lives.
In this role you will contribute to the smooth running of TFP through the provision of organisational and administrative support to both the Director, and Head of Fundraising. Whether you’re providing back-up for our award-winning prison programme, promoting the workshops for our schools programme, or developing a strategy for our F Word exhibition, you’ll be critical to the development of this charity at an important time in its growth and development.
While your role will essentially be organisational and administrative, we are looking for someone who can also provide inspiration and direction to this challenging and interesting role and help raise the profile of the organisation.
With the ability to build effective relationships, you will have excellent written and verbal skills, together with the ability to work as part of a team. You will also need to be computer literate and be comfortable managing and updating the charity’s website. It is important that you are financially literate, able to gather financial information for trustee meetings and create cash-flow forecasts.
