RJC Members - Vote to decide who joins the RJC Board (Voting Closed 9th September)

At the 2011 Annual General Meeting we will be appointing two new Membership Trustees to join the Board of the RJC, and ratifying the appointment of Jill Little as a Council Trustee.

This is a crucial election for the Restorative Justice Council. The Board of Trustees is responsible for ensuring we run a dynamic and effective organisation, delivering on our charitable aims.

Nine candidates have put themselves forward for election for the two places available this year for new trustees from the RJC membership.

As RJC members this is your organisation – the RJC ask you to elect the most effective team you can, to ensure that we can continue to build a successful organisation, promoting, developing and assuring quality restorative practice.

To assist you in this task you have been provided with a brochure where each of the candidates provides information about themselves and why they seek election to the Board. It also provides information about the skills of the existing board and recent changes to our constitution.

We are delighted to see the range and quality of the candidates who are standing for election to the RJC Board. The quality of these candidates reflects the growing status and accountability of the RJC and it’s Board.  Please consider all the candidates standing carefully, and elect those whom you trust will continue to build and strengthen the role and work of the Restorative Justice Council.

To vote electronically please follow the instructions detailed in the further reading link below and have your completed voting form with us by 8th September 2011.

Our Annual General Meting will take place this year on 13th September 2011.  All members are welcome to attend - to book your place please email admin@restorativejustice.org.uk
