New appointments at the Restorative Justice Council
Linda Millington will join the RJC on 16th May as our new Head of Professional Services. Linda has worked for the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, auditing the work of awarding bodies. Most recently at Skills for Justice, as the Programme Lead for the Children’s Workforce, Linda led on the development of the National Occupational Standards in restorative practice, and the piloting of the Level 4 Diplomain Restorative Practice. As Head of Professional Services at the RJC Linda’s role will include project management of the development and launch of the RJC Practitioner Register, including the ‘passporting’ arrangements for experienced practitioners; working with awarding bodies to develop a wide range of RJC Quality Marked accreditations based on the National Occupational Standards in restorative practice; and piloting RJC Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops, linked to the CPD requirement of Practitioner Registration.
Our new Operations Manager Graham Keyse joins the Restorative Justice Council from the Institute for Learning, where he was Data Services Manager. Graham was responsible for the development of two Customer Relations Management Systems for their professional register for the Further Education Sector. His role included supervision of all staff operating the IT systems to ensure that data was held securely in line with organisational policy and legislative requirements. Prior to his work at the Institute for Learning, Graham worked as Registrar, and then Examinations Manager, at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. His role at the Restorative Justice Council will be wide ranging, including management of IT, finance and office systems, including secure management of data for the online RJC Practitioner Register; events management; and recruitment and supervision of volunteers in the RJC Office.
We are delighted to welcome both Linda and Graham to the RJC.
