Restorative Approaches and Norfolk Residential Services

A free seminar for organisations who work with young people in residential care 

9am-12.30pm, 18th April 2012
Abbey Conference Centre, Norwich

The seminar will:

  • Showcase how Norfolk Residential Services have developed their use of restorative practices
  • Raise awareness about  the use of restorative practices with Looked After Children
  • Celebrate the outcomes achieved since restorative approaches have been used by Norfolk Residential Services
  • To explain how the use of restorative approaches by placement providers will be included as a commissioning requirement by Norfolk County Council Children’s Services
  • Launch the Restorative Approaches in Norfolk Residential Services project report

By the end of the seminar you will..

  • Hear expert testimonial on the value of restorative approaches in residential care
  • Hear from Norfolk County Council Children’s Services about how the project was developed and delivered
  • Learn what restorative approaches mean in practice and how they are working in Norfolk Residential Services
  • Be informed about the impacts residential approaches have made within the residential sector
