Reforming Youth Justice – Community Sentencing and Restorative Justice
Wednesday 24th February 2010
Central London

Ministry of Justice statistics show that community sentences are increasingly effective at preventing youth reoffending. Capita’s new Reforming Youth Justice Conference will provide the crucial strategy to ensure you are up to speed with the full range of innovative non-custodial approaches to tackling youth crime.

Sessions at this conference will provide updates on these and other key issues including:

- Strategic guidance on the new powers and orders transforming the youth justice system

- Local innovations using a range of practical approaches to prevent youth reoffending whilst cutting costs

- Building community confidence in non-custodial solutions through a victim centred approach

- Early intervention to prevent the escalation of offending behaviour

- The end-to-end process and multi agency working to ensure successful rehabilitation and resettlement plans

Attend this event to learn how to tackle youth crime more effectively. Ensure that you can provide positive routes out for young offenders whilst giving the public the best possible protection.
